A lot of people preferably use a Mac due to the perceived simplicity, design and usability of OS X's UI Like the proverbial duck on a pond, above the surface, it's all serene and quiet. Below the surface, there's a lot of stuff going on - and when things hiccup or go wrong, MacPilot is an indispensable tool. I am an inveterate tweaker and cannot help but lift the bonnet and start fiddling with the engine. MacPilot, for the past 7 years has kept me sane and saved my bacon on more than one occasion. It won't let you consciously do anything that will corrupt your OS installation, your applications or your data. Like a spreadsheet program, MacPilot offers a squillion tweaks. Everyone will find the half a dozen or so that they couldn't do without, and everyone's half dozen will be a different selection. The beauty of MacPilot is that all the tweaks are here in the one package.............and they all work....!! 'Nuff said.

I've been using MacPilot for years… And I like very much Koingo products. I also use Air radar and librarian pro. The good point is that the Koingo team is listening from users and suggestions they can make to improve the products. For instance, I have suggested the possibility to remove all changes made with Mac Pilot and return to "Apple standard system settings". They introduce the basic and advanced way of making changes to the system with the ability to create a "save point" ! Very clever way to answer my suggestion. :-)

Ever since I purchased the "all apps" licensing version, it has proven to be one of the BEST DEALS I have EVER encountered! As well as allowing me access to this particular app, it has given me access to other software, about which I had never even thought about! The company also is setup to LISTEN TO their CUSTOMERS, and therefore have come out with feature after feature that almost ALWAYS have proven very useful. A lot of these programs or features would never have occurred to me, on my own! So, I get the advantage of many, many points of view about software and things that are possible! AND, whatever licensing system they use has kept my access to many VERY IMPORTANT APPLICATIONS (for me, anyway), as they ALWAYS seem to be READY and WAITING, for when things change (as "change" is the nature of the universe, to quote someone famous)! They ALWAYS seem ready, whether it be hardware (like a major CPU change) OR software (like yearly OS releases)!!! Furthermore, I almost forget one of the MOST IMPORTANT FEATURES OF ALL (which says it is done EXCEEDINGLY WELL!!!): They have MAC support!!!. To repeat: THEY HAVE MAC SUPPORT!!! And to emphasize (never enough times): THEY HAVE MAC SUPPORT!!! To sum up (SINCERELY and TRUTHFULLY and NOT CONNECTED in ANY WAY): This is, BY FAR, the BEST SOFTWARE CHOICE I have EVER MADE!

I have been using MacPilot since 4 December 2007 … back with MacPilot 3. I continually use it as "the" utility to help access, and correct problems and quirks in MacOS, as they occur. In a clear, concise, easy to use manner, I am able to address problems and issues. I continually maintain my subscription for one reason … MacPilot works!!
